Putting our values into action

Since our founding, we’ve incorporated social, cultural, and environmental considerations into each of our business decisions.

Protecting Our Environment

Practicing the Three 'Rs'

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

  • Our spent tea and SCOBYs are given to local permaculturists who use them to enrich the soil and grow biodynamic and organic food.
  • A lot of cardboard comes through our production facility. What doesn’t get recycled gets sent off to local permaculturists, who then use it to smother grass and weeds before they start layering on biomass to grow food.
  • We collect bottle caps (which we cannot legally reuse) from our returnable growlers and donate them to the Community Caps Project.
